The West Essex YMCA Breaststroke Clinic is offered to swimmers in the WEY Swim Team and Pre-Team programs and provides participants with hands-on, in-water instruction from experienced coaches in a fun, team-oriented environment. Swimmers will have dedicated time to focus on freestyle technique through targeted drills and structured workouts conducted at a slower, more instructional pace than is typically possible during the regular season. This allows athletes to develop and refine key competitive swimming fundamentals at each clinic. Each clinic will conclude with organized races, which may be uploaded to the swimmer’s SportsEngine account or used for tryout evaluations.
