The WNBA and NBA recognize the valuable role sports can play in the development of young girls and the advancement of women as leaders in society. Her Time To Play is a national initiative offered by the Y in partnership with the WNBA and Junior NBA, dedicated to championing change on behalf of girls and women, providing ways to connect, collaborate and actively engage with basketball. Girls will learn important life skills such as teamwork, leadership and self-confidence. Each week will consist of 30 minutes of practice and 30 minutes of game play.
